We are a podiatry clinic in Ipswich treating feet, ankles and lower limbs. Below is what actually differs about coming here, rather than a list of adjectives.
Our Orthotics Are Made in This Building
Most clinics design an orthotic and send the prescription to an external laboratory. We have our own lab on site, where orthotics are designed and 3D printed in Ipswich. Two practical consequences follow from that:
- Turnaround. Most patients are fitted within one to two weeks, rather than waiting on an external lab's queue and freight.
- Adjustments. If a device needs altering after you have worn it, the person who made it is here, so changes do not mean starting the process again.
Registered, and Accountable for It
Our podiatrists are registered with the Podiatry Board of Australia through AHPRA. That registration is public: anyone can look up a practitioner on the AHPRA register and confirm their status and any conditions on their practice.
It also means we work within the National Law, which is why you will not find patient testimonials on this website. Testimonials are prohibited in advertising a regulated health service in Australia. Our Google reviews are visible on our Google listing, where they belong, and we would rather explain that than quietly leave them out.
One Clinic for Most Foot Problems
We provide twelve services, from routine nail and skin care through to biomechanical assessment, shockwave therapy and nail surgery. In practice that means a problem found during a routine appointment can usually be dealt with here rather than referred onward.
Unhurried First Appointments
An initial biomechanical assessment runs 40 to 60 minutes. We discuss symptoms, footwear and activity, examine you properly, then explain what we found and what the options are before anything is decided.
No Referral Needed
You can book directly with us. A GP referral is only needed if you intend to claim through particular funding pathways, such as Medicare or DVA.
Most Funding Pathways Are Accepted Here
Cost is one of the main reasons people delay getting a foot problem looked at, so it is worth being direct about it. We accept:
- Medicare, through a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan, bulk billed with a small gap
- DVA Gold and White Card
- NDIS
- WorkCover Queensland
- Private health, with HICAPS on site so you pay only the gap
- Self-funded, with upfront quotes and payment plans available
We Come to You Across the Region
Our main clinic is at 68 Warwick Road, Ipswich, with free on-site parking. We also run visiting clinics at Fernvale, Rosewood, Gatton, Laidley Hospital and Laidley Family Doctors, so patients across the Lockyer Valley and Somerset Region do not have to travel into Ipswich for routine care. Bookings for every location are made through the Ipswich clinic.
